Hayesville House provides a secure, supportive
environment for individuals with Alzheimer’s and memory-related
dementias.
Comfortable and completely secured, Hayesville House includes
a formal dining room, living room, activities area, landscaped
courtyard, and outdoor area. Plus, there is a private dining
area and library.
All staff members undergo and successfully complete
specialized training in the care and service of those with
Alzheimer’s and related dementias. And Hayesville House has
undergone a more rigorous licensing procedure required by the
state to receive its memory care license from the State of North
Carolina as an approved “Special Care Unit”, having met or
exceeded all state requirements.
Creating Five Minutes of Joy for each resident is one
of our goals. Unfortunately, Alzheimer’s and other dementias rob
individuals of short-term memory. So the patience to deal with
the present and make this five minutes count -- this
five minutes as enjoyable as possible -- is a satisfying goal
for both resident and caregiver.

dressing, personal grooming, dining, and social activities will

offered as needed or requested -- along with the following:
